Piccadilly runs for just under a mile from Hyde Park Corner in the west to Piccadilly Circus in the east, one of the widest and straightest streets in central London. Its western half faces Green Park and is built up only on the north side. Further east, St James's lies to the south, and Burlington House, home of the Royal Academy of Arts, stands on the north.
